About The Brand

That Girl With Arthritis started in 2020. I simply was hoping to build community, find people like me with chronic illnesses, and maybe bring something new to the community that could be beneficial.

A few months in I began designing cute awareness apparel and accessories. This was something I always wanted to do and the COVID-19 quarantine gave me time to design products, set up the shop, and learn about the e-commerce world. 

To end 2020 I launched my medical journals. I am hoping my journals benefit chronic illness warriors just like me!

About Brianna

In 2010 I was diagnosed with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease, an overlap of Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, and Scleroderma.

I grew up in New Jersey, but now outside of Tampa, FL with my husband, goldendoodle, golden retriever, and kitty. I work full-time in Marketing and TGWA is my passion project. 

I have been through a lot, and I know my journey with arthritis is no where near over. This site, this community, and this shop has given me some hope. Hope and realization that even though it feels like it sometimes, I am not alone in this journey.
